It was invented by a Danish carpenter named Ole Kirk Christiansen in 1932.
The name `Lego` came from the Danish words `leg godt`, meaning `play well`.
The manufacturing of the iconic plastic lego brick began in 1947.
In Febuary 2015, Lego replaced Ferrari as the "Worlds most powerful brand".
