Over this past few months I have shamefully neglected my blog page
and my only excuse is I`ve been sooooo busy with college work I never seem to round to it (not a very acceptable one really?) but today I`m going put that right and give the `low down` on what I`ve been up too!
Where to start.............
Over November and December I under took the `Theory and Practise` module which is part of my Level 3 course, it was delivered by VC from Moray UHI and it`s aim was to enable you to develop your critical thinking and apply this to your own creative practise. Over a 12 week period we looked at various theorists such as Heidegger, Deleuze and Derrida which offered a series of different perspectives from which to look at the relationship between theory and practise. By the end of the 12 weeks we had to produce 6 x 400 word journal entries and 1 x 1,500 word essay.
Although I found this module interesting, it was also very challenging but all the research and writing paid off as I received an `A` at the end of it (so chuffed!)
Also during this time I took some welding night classes, they were so much fun and I`ve really got the welding bug now which is feeding into my Creative Practise 3 module.
I`ve decided to blog my progress in a series of posts to as there`s quite a lot to up date so there is more to follow this one ..........
Good to see updates coming in!
